Spires meetings take place on alternating Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 7:00 in the print media suite on the third floor of the DUC.

We tend to send out an email reminder before each meeting to confirm the time and date. If you’d like to be on our mailing list, send us an email at

At meetings, we generally spend an hour or so reading through our submissions, discussing them, and munching on pizza and snacks. We generally don’t bite or otherwise maim.

Instructions for reading submissions online:

1.) Go to Log in.
2.) In the top right of the page, click “Organizations” to go to the organizations directory.
3.) Find “Spires Intercollegiate Arts and Literary Magazine” in the directory.
4.) Click “Join Organization” near the center of the page. This should send a notification to the group leader who will accept you into the roster.
5.) Once you have been accepted, you will be able to read submissions online under “Documents” on the Spires organization page.
